Wireless charging

OmniTAG®: the intelligent care platform

One system that wirelessly charges every cart and piece of mobile medical equipment, keeps batteries healthy, and gathers the data. Hardware, software and service together.

Hardware

TAG-X® Smart Rail

Wireless, contactless charging built into the wall protection your corridors already need. Carts charge when nurses park them.

Software

NexTAG® software

The cloud dashboard for every rail, cart and battery: where they are, how they charge, and which equipment performs.

Carts

TRIO® and TAHOE® carts

The TRIO® workstation cart, powered by TAG-X, and the TAHOE® supply, procedure and treatment cart, both designed with nurses.

Universal

Every cart can charge at every rail

Any product powered by TAG-X connects to any TAG-X charging station: many to many. TAG-X works with any type or size of battery, so one platform charges workstations on wheels, medication carts, vital-signs monitors, beds and more, whoever made them.

That leaves hospitals free to choose equipment on its merits. The platform is vendor agnostic: anything compatible with OmniTAG works seamlessly, wirelessly, with no moving parts and no clinical touch points.

Built into the wall

Upgrade the wall protection you already have

Horizontal guards and rails along corridors give decentralized “opportunity” charging wherever carts are parked. Vertical guards serve dedicated charging spots where wall space is short. Existing wall protection can be upgraded with kits; new construction specifies the Smart Rail like any other guard.

Scalable

From ten carts to a health system

Big and small power draws all communicate with every TAG-X location. The same platform runs ten carts in one department or every cart across a network of hospitals.

NexTAG, the cloud software, oversees every product at every location: groups, maps, scripts, availability, charging, charge current, temperatures, cycles and more.

Platform as a service

What the platform includes

  1. Hardware: TAG-XSmart Rails in the wall (Inpro wall protection with transmitters inside) and receivers on the carts and equipment.
  2. Software: NexTAGThe cloud dashboard: register, monitor, configure and manage every device across many locations.
  3. ServiceThe platform as a service (PaaS), with new workflow “Apps” added through NexTAG as hospitals ask for them.
