Who we serve

TAG-X is bought by nursing leaders, specified by designers, run by IT and used by nurses. Each comes to it for a different reason.

Hospitals and health systems

For chief nursing officers, unit managers and administrators. TAG-X takes cords, outlets and battery swaps out of the nurse’s day: carts charge whenever they are parked, so they are ready when care starts. Fewer touch points help infection prevention, and nurses stop bending down to plug in heavy carts. The savings calculator shows what that is worth for your number of carts.

Behavioral health

Power cords on workstation carts are a documented ligature hazard, and swappable batteries can be used as weapons. Since March 2026 CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia, Missouri, has run its adolescent wing with no cords on its nurse workstation carts: they charge at a TAG-X Smart Rail on the wall. It is the first complete Wireless Environment of Care™ in inpatient behavioral health.

Architects, planners and facility teams

For healthcare architects, interior designers, facility planners and construction teams. The TAG-X Smart Rail is Inpro wall protection with charging inside, in 42-inch modules that mount horizontally or vertically. Existing guards and rails can be upgraded with kits. Revit families, data sheets and step-by-step installation drawings are free to download.

Hospital IT and clinical engineering

For IT, biomedical and clinical engineering teams. NexTAG registers every rail and powered device, maps them on your floor plans, and reports power transfer, battery voltage, current and temperature. Set charge rates centrally, compare vendors side by side, and export the data.

Emergency response and public agencies

For emergency managers, public agencies and hospitals planning surge capacity. HEROCarts are recyclable carts made for one patient at a time, shipped flat or assembled. In 2020 TAGCarts donated hundreds of them, including 250 to the State of California and carts for Gila River Health Care in Arizona.
